OpenAtlas can be installed on Windows e.g. using pip for installing packages. But it's a lot of work and has some restrictions (e.g. import/export is not working) and it is not recommended recommanded for productive use. We are working on these issues but they have no priority. Below is a list of known issues.

* Write (more detailed) installation instruction for Windows
* Test and add missing packages to requirements.txt

*
Default language can't be set (openatlas/__init__.py) because of different spelled language identifiers under Windows
* Export There are some issues with file pathes (e.g. import/export) which could be solved with Python 3.6 (3.5 currently in use) and import using libpath
* SQL export
isn't working because of non functioning PostgreSQL commands exising pg_dump command
* Write installation instruction for Windows
